Health and Medical Research Fund - Investigator-initiated Projects
The Health and Medical Research Fund invites applications for investigator-initiated research projects and health promotion projects. The closing date is 31 March 2025 (6:00 pm Hong Kong time). Results will be tentatively announced in September 2025.
Applications can be submitted via the electronic Grant Management System (eGMS) (https://rfs.healthbureau.gov.hk/eGMS/) by completing the electronic Application Form by the above deadline.
Briefing sessions on grant applications for the 2024 Open Call for Investigator-initiated Projects, which will be held on 9 and 15 January 2025 are now open for registration.

The Health Bureau now invites applications for the Research Fellowship Scheme under the Health and Medical Research Fund. Completed electronic application forms should be submitted via the electronic Grant Management System on or before 6 January 2025 (6:00 pm Hong Kong time). Click here for details of application.
