Studies Related to Melamine Incident - to inform the Bureau on the potential medium- to long-term health impact associated with melamine exposure relevant to the following priority areas:
A total of 9 studies related to melamine incident have been supported and commenced in early 2009. Studies on Human Swine Influenza - to address the immediate research needs arising from the human swine influenza (H1N1 Influenza A) pandemic. A total of 16 studies on human swine influenza have been supported and commenced in June 2009. Commissioned Research on Mental Health Policy and Services - to inform the mental health policy agenda and the planning of mental health service provision in the following research areas:
A total of 11 studies on Mental Health Policy and Services have been supported. Commissioned Study on Enhanced Primary Care - to inform the Bureau health policy agenda and the planning of the Hospital Authority in enhancing Primary Care service. A total of 3 studies have been supported. |
